An awards program has been created at Berkeley Lab to recognize the significant achievements of Lab employees. The awards will be presented at a lab wide ceremony, on an annual basis, to individuals and teams.

The program will honor employees for their high achievement, leadership, collaboration, multi-disciplinary science, cross-divisional projects, and commitment to excellence in support of the Lab’s mission and strategic goals.

There are two types of awards: The Director’s Award for Exceptional Achievement (team or individual) and a new lifetime achievement award - The Berkeley Lab Prize.
